FESTECH (FuturEU
Students as
Transmitters of
Cultural Heritage)
is an idea that goes back to the time
of Ancient Greece, where Aristotle in
“Politics” claims that a citizen is not a
citizen only because he lives in a
certain place, but a citizen is one who
is involved in public affairs, contributes
to the implementation of national
policies, wants to help a neighbour,
share and transmit abroad local
cultural heritage in order to raise
awareness, inspire others and develop
new international partnerships for the
common good.
